🗳️ Your Guide to the 2026 Macon-Bibb County Elections

Make your voice heard! Here is everything you need to know for the upcoming General Primary Runoff Election.

💡 KNOW BEFORE YOU GO! View the Sample Ballot

  1. Go to mvp.sos.ga.gov.
  2. To login, you will need to enter the first initial of your name, your last name, county you are registered to vote in and date of birth.
  3. Then scroll until you see “View My Sample Ballot.”
  4. If you voted in primary election either Republican or Democrat, you will only see the ballot type of the party you voted with. If you voted nonpartisan in the primary election or did not vote in the primary election, you will be able to choose between Democratic Sample Ballot or Republican Sample Ballot. 

Voting Early:

  • For early voting, you can cast your ballot at any early voting location in the county you are registered to vote in.
  • If you voted in the primary, you can vote in the runoff but you will have to pick the same ballot type you voted on in the primary election. For example, if you voted on a Republican ballot, you will have to vote with a Republican ballot in the runoff. It’s the same if you voted on a Democrat ballot. If you voted nonpartisan in the primary, you can choose either Democrat or Republican in the runoff.
  • If you did not vote in the primary, you can still vote in the runoff if you are registered to vote. You will be able to choose between a Republican or Democrat ballot.
  • On Election Day, you will have to vote at your voting precinct.

Skip the lines on Election Day by taking advantage of early voting!

  • Monday – Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • There will be no Early Voting or Saturday or Sunday

📮 Voting by Mail

If you prefer to vote by mail, ensure your Absentee Ballot Application is submitted no later than Friday, June 5, 2026.
